Gender Reveal: Nova Scotia Couple Makes Explosive Announcement

Look! Up in the sky! It's the sex of your baby!

More and more expectant couples are finding unique ways to reveal the sex of their newborns via "gender reveal parties." But parents-to-be Graham and Monica Driscoll of Windsor, Nova Scotia, went to all new heights.

The couple and their son Bennett used fireworks to find out if they were having a boy or a girl.

"We didn't want to do the typical cupcake thing," Graham, who works part-time for a fireworks company called FireworksFX, told ABC News. "A light bulb went off and I thought fireworks would be a neat idea."

The couple didn't know if they were having a boy or a girl before the fireworks display. Instead, Graham gave the sealed test results to his boss and let the company surprise them both. Pink fireworks would mean their baby, who is due in late July, would be a girl and blue for a boy. They found out the results surrounded by family and friends.

"The reaction was awesome,” Graham told Huffington Post via email. "Everyone enjoyed it (the whole show was almost seven minutes long). The grandmothers are over the moon ecstatic."

So what are they going to have? You'll have to watch the video above to find out!
