Leave it to Julia Roberts to look ultra glam on the red carpet, even without shoes.
On Thursday, the 48-year-old actress walked the 2016 Cannes Film Festival red carpet for the premiere of her latest flick, "Money Monster" looking as stunning as ever in an Armani Prive gown and Chopard jewelry.
The black, off-the-shoulder dress was floor length, leaving us all guessing what killer footwear Roberts was wearing underneath.
But as the "Pretty Woman" star walked up those famous steps, we soon saw that she had opted to nix the heels altogether.
While this isn't the first time Julia has gone barefoot at a big event (she famously ditched the shoes at her wedding to Lyle Lovett in 1993), her choice to go without footwear at the French film festival is especially notable, given Cannes' infamous "high heels only" policy that was put into place last year.
We're not exactly sure when she ditched the heels (she originally wore a pair of platform peep toes), but it looks like her co-star, George Clooney, got a kick out of her potential protest.
