Bella Hadid Is The Newest Face Of Dior Makeup

And it's pretty major.

Bella Hadid has scooped a major new modelling contract as the ambassador of Dior makeup.

The supermodel will star in a series of online videos for the French fashion and beauty house as part of her new role, WWD reports. The first clip will see her discussing her favourite beauty products with the brand's in-house creative and image director Peter Phillips. It is set for release on June 6.

The American beauty will also walk for the house for the first time as part of its cruise collection catwalk show taking place in London Tuesday, the site reports.

Hadid follows in the footsteps of stars including Hollywood actress Jennifer Lawrence, who was announced as the face of the Dior Addict makeup line last May, and model Eva Herzigová, who acted as the face for the brand's Capture Total Serum in 2014 and 2015.

The news is proof, if it were needed, of just how bankable the youngest Hadid sister has become since first emerging on the fashion scene in 2013. Represented by modeling agency IMG New York, which counts her sister Gigi, friend Hailey Baldwin and big hitters Gisele and Kate Moss on its books, she has walked the runway for Miu Miu, Chanel and Givenchy this year alone. Along with her sibling and the Jenner sisters Kendall and Kylie, she is part of Olivier Rousteing's Balmain clique, walking in the house's Spring/Summer 16 show and its highly publicized H&M show last fall.

Model Bella Hadid walks the runway at the BALMAIN X H&M Collection Launch at 23 Wall Street on Oct. 20, 2015 in New York City.

She has come into her own in terms of magazine covers, scoring Elle US's June 2016 issue and fronting Vogue Turkey, Elle Brazil and W Korea so far this year. Yet when it comes to advertorial campaigns she has proven less commercial than her older sister, and despite working with Topshop, Balmain and Ralph Lauren, Dior is her biggest campaign role to date.
