Think of any Canadian stereotype. Now think of one more. Now, three more.
All of them are most likely in Stephen Colbert's version of "O Canada."
On Wednesday, the "Late Show" host said he's in favour of the House of Commons bill proposing to make the anthem gender-neutral. But he thinks there's more to be done.
"I support this change, but Canada, you are missing a fantastic opportunity here to change more lyrics to show how great your beautiful country is," he said.

"And I have prepared a small re-write of your national anthem.
"Please rise — and place your hand over your beaver," he said, placing his hand on his heart.
What follows is a masterclass in Canadian stereotypes. As Colbert stands up, a man dressed in a Mountie uniform walks out and starts singing as an image of the Canadian flag appears behind him:
"O Canada,
The country we hold dear
All the sexy Ryans
Also come from here."
An image of Ryan Reynolds and Ryan Gosling show up on the screen.
The lyrics reference everything from cold weather to the "sprawling wilderness" to maple syrup and moose.
Of course, Justin Trudeau was brought up.
