Shirtless Mark Critch Photobombs Justin Trudeau In Newfoundland

It's been kind of a weird summer.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau now knows what it's like to be on the other side of a shirtless photobomb.

Mark Critch, star of CBC's "This Hour Has 22 Minutes," pulled off the feat in St. John's, Newfoundland Monday. The comedian shared a photo of the "accidental" interruption to Twitter.

While Critch's stunt was clearly a homerun, a CBC News reporter also highlighted the hilarious reaction of Liberal MP Seamus O'Regan.

Of course, Critch was poking fun at two recent incidents of Trudeau being photographed shirtless while on vacation with his family — first in Quebec's Gatineau Park and then while observing a wedding on Chesterman Beach in Tofino, British Columbia. Both photos went viral and made headlines around the world.

Critch earlier took to Twitter to compare Trudeau to "Jungle Book" character, Mowgli.

Last week, Conservatives used a blurry beach photo of Trudeau on a website criticizing the prime minister for taking a vacation when more than 31,000 full-time jobs were lost in July.

The image was pulled from the site and Tory social media accounts after B.C. photographer Marnie Recker filed a cease and desist notice against the party.
