Serial Prankster Vitalii Sediuk Says He Picked Up Gigi Hadid As A Form Of 'Protest'

...say what?

ICYMI, yesterday Gigi Hadid was physically picked up by a stranger on the streets while leaving the Max Mara spring 2017 show in Milan.

The man behind this unwarranted physical contact is serial prankster, Vitalii Sediuk, who confirmed his involvement in this messed up incident to The Hollywood Reporter Thursday.

According to the "red carpet menace," who is banned from the U.S. after trying to bury his face in Brad Pitt's crotch at the L.A. premiere of "Maleficent" in 2014, his manhandling of 21-year-old Hadid was a form of "protest."

"While I consider Gigi Hadid beautiful, she and her friend Kendall Jenner have nothing to do with high fashion. By doing this, I encourage the fashion industry to put true talents on the runway and Vogue covers instead of well-connected cute girls from Instagram," Sediuk told The Hollywood Reporter.

"You can call it a manifest or a protest. This is also a wake-up call for Anna Wintour, who turned Vogue into a tabloid by putting Kardashians and other similar celebrities on a cover of a well-respected magazine," he added.

The Ukranian prankster also said that any allegations that his "stunt" was an assault on a woman are "overdramatic."

Following the incident, Gigi took to Twitter to defend her actions, that is, elbowing Vitalii in an attempt to break free.

"And [I] had EVERY RIGHT to defend myself. How dare that idiot thinks he has the right to man-handle a complete stranger. He ran quick tho," she tweeted.

Hadid also continued to work the runway like a complete pro, walking for Fendi and Moschino shortly after the attack.

Gigi Hadid walks the runway at the Fendi ready-to-wear show at Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2017 on Sept. 22, 2016 in Milan.

Gigi Hadid walks the runway at the Moschino ready-to-wear show during Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2017 on Sept. 22, 2016 in Milan.

And Gigi can take comfort in knowing Canadian supermodel, Coco Rocha has her back. On Thursday, Coco posted a photo of the model and her sister, Bella Hadid, on Instagram, calling them the "REAL DEAL" and "supermodels."

We 100 per cent agree.
