To help celebrate British Vogue's 100 years this past June, the legendary glossy enlisted none other than the Duchess of Cambridge herself, Kate Middleton, as their cover girl.
This was Catherine's first Vogue cover, following in the footsteps of Princess Diana, who covered the magazine three times.
In the video above, British Vogue's editor-in-chief Alexandra Shulman reveals the difference between the two royal cover girls comes down to celebrity.
"Diana was more interested in that high-voltage celebrity, that was something she really embraced. The Duchess of Cambridge is prepared to do her bit, but it's not one of the things that she most cares about," Shulman says.
