Body Found In Bow River Near Banff Townsite

RCMP are working to notify the man's family.

A body found in the Bow River within the Banff townsite has RCMP investigating.

Police say they were alerted to the body around 11 a.m. Monday, after a passerby noticed the deceased in the water near a pedestrian bridge.

Mounties have confirmed the body is male, and said they are working to notify the man's family. They are not releasing any more information at this point.
