Igor Malakhov
Igor began his career in journalism in 1991 as a Moscow-based fixer for major international media. He has since contributed to many award-winning programs and documentaries for such prestigious media outlets as ABC News’ Nightline with Ted Koppel, BBC, CNN International, ARTE, ARD (German Channel One), National Geographic, NBC News and many others. Igor also wrote for ELLE, Marie Claire, Playboy magazines and edited the Russian GQ and The Exclusive Traveller. He has produced shoots for legendary fashion photographers Mario Testino & David Lachapelle and assisted famous war photographers Chris Morris and James Nachtwey in Chechnya. In 2010 due to work-related threats, Igor moved to Canada and now resides in Toronto.
