Melinda Winner’s passion for cooking began since she was a child. Despite battling five forms of arthritis and a birth injury that left her right arm with very limited use, Melinda hasn’t let adversity stand in the way of creating culinary masterpieces. Gaining strength from her experiences and driven to succeed, Melinda has said, “I cannot and will not let this illness or birth injury control my life. I will control my illness.”

Melinda is proof that being an ambassador for your own health is key to achieving your goals. Now at the age of 50, Melinda is an Executive Chef, has won several national recipe contests, cooked off on a major television network, worked as an art director and a celebrity interviewer in the motion picture industry, and has published two cookbooks.

Melinda is currently working on her third book and will also be developing a line of arthritis cookware. In her spare time, she enjoys horseback riding, swimming, traveling and hiking. Melinda has three children and five grandchildren.
