No matter how good a name may be, options are important. Because we want you to have as many options as possible, we went to the Official Social Security site (of course we did), and found the five most popular names for boys, and five most popular names for girls. Then, we came up with alternatives.
Every year, the most popular baby names list is announced, and I think most parents prefer to never see their child's name turn up there. It might be because they want to "own" that name and be individual, or they are thinking about confusion in the classroom in later years. There's a fine line between common and insane (Hashtag, anyone?) that every parent considers.
