I just came back from NYC and I wanted to pass on some of my money saving strategies. I saved money on everything from dining, roaming, hotels, attractions to my cell phone bill. It is easy to spend a ton in NYC with the exchange rate and higher Manhattan prices and after many trips I've been able to put more "sweet" into visiting the big apple!
If you google "P.E.I. weddings," it should not come as a surprise that the Island has carved out a market for even the most discriminating of brides. Although a wedding can be preformed just about anywhere, it is magical on the Island. It is a wonderful way to start life together as a married couple with a few days in paradise before settling in to the regular rhythm and flow of everyday life.
In a few days, I will begin a long, arduous, dangerous journey. Solo, unsupported, no additional assistance, resupply or shadow boat, I will kayak solo from San Francisco to Hawaii. 3,100 miles, 45 to 65 days, battling giant waves, killer great white sharks, and all that Mother Nature will throw at me. Why am I doing this?
