Today's topsy-turvy world has us all running madly in every direction. We often feel overwhelmed with what's before us -- and that is, even, before our feet hit the floor in the morning. We are losing our joie de vivre; there is precious little fun and almost non-existent downtime in our lives today.
How could we help him feel better about himself so he does a better job for our city? As hard as it may be for some of us to swallow, we could try to lose the blame and the judgement and throw him some slack. Why? When people treat us well, the better we feel, and the better we feel, the better we behave.
Constantly overproducing cortisol and adrenaline day after day can eventually lead to that feeling of being "burned out," also known as adrenal fatigue. Although it will take time and patience, your recuperation strategy can be as simple as these steps.
