Some Lessons MPs Could Learn From Kindergarten

We, as the electorate, have a certain level of expectations for children at school: don't be rude, respect each other and your teachers and complete your work to the best of your ability. I certainly don't think that it's too much then to ask the same of our MPs and our government. We cannot continue to remain silent as our elected "adults" act like children while they represent us, as Elizabeth May did recently.

Experiencing Reverse Culture Shock

Living and working in a foreign country far different from your own -- in my case, South Korea -- is a learning experience to say the least. My time spent in Korea was not always easy but mostly it was exhilarating and enjoyable. After spending two years there I knew it was time to pack my bags and return home. I flew back to Toronto and, surprisingly, my first few weeks adjusting to Western life was a lot more stressful and confusing than I ever could have imagined.
