Canadians are not meeting the Food Guide recommendations, especially when it comes to eating enough fruit and vegetables. Part of the problem is knowing how many fruits and vegetables we need to eat in a day and what a serving size should be. Guess what? However if you are making the effort to enhance your health, then you may as well go the full length and do it right!
Show someone a photo of a lush forest with a grizzly bear and ask what's in the picture. Most will answer, "a bear." Add a spotted owl to the scene, and the response might become, "a grizzly bear under an owl." What you are unlikely to hear is a description of the flora accompanying the charismatic fauna.
