Men, it is our week to wake up! We are unhealthy, we have been denying it, and putting it off. Now is the time to stop, take notice, and make changes. There was a study commissioned by the Canadian Men's Health Foundation to understand the economic impact of poor health choices among Canadian men. If these numbers do not fill you with a deep desire to make some changes, I do not know what will.
It's a wonderful day to celebrate trans folks. With that said, I think it's very important that this start a conversation around differing narratives of trans lives and how Caitlyn's story, although wonderful and to be celebrated, is one of privilege. The two major sexual problems that distress men are premature ejaculation (come too soon) and erectile dysfunction (can't get or keep it up). Premature ejaculation is a learned response and responds to treatment whereas erectile dysfunction can have physiological or psychological causes, or a combination of both. We attribute physiological reasons to some 80 percent of cases.
