It is all about putting your best foot forward and you can make this networking opportunity work for you by following these five tips.
Plainly, even if you think you have connections -- you likely don't. It is not unless you have made a connection to someone...you developed that connection through a number of interactions, that you might be able to call them a connection. This matters not though.
I often see articles that I know would be of interest to someone else that I've met, or come across a lead that will be helpful, so I pass it on. It is an easy way to stay connected and it makes you memorable as someone who is genuinely interested in helping others.
