This isn't good for our personal or our collective health, Québec, and it needs to stop. Sometimes, we need to have these hard conversations. Sometimes, we need to be ready to put our minds together to envision how we want our communities to evolve. Sometimes, we need to conquer bad memories and try talking once more.
November 22, 1963. A day everyone remembers as the day John F. Kennedy was assassinated. The whole world mourned America's "loss of innocence". For me, it became a pivotal day. A day that changed my life - forever. I experienced my own personal loss of innocence. A loss that would inform the rest of my life.
I'm concerned my zeal for Power Records may very well be the beginning of my near-ironic imperial moustache/pork pie hat/monocle phase and that scares me to death. But I think my Power Records collection stems from wanting to creatively re-engage with the superheroes I grew up with while I still can.
