This was a no-brainer for me because my whole life's work is dedicated to making ONE change to Canada. It's my mission statement: "To make parent education as acceptable and accessible as pre-natal classes." Taking a parenting class is responsible parenting. Isn't it a shame there is a stigma for improving one's self?
A study by Today.com that suggests three is the most stressful number of children to have. A mom of three explains that the stress level increases when it comes to things like crossing the street, versus two kids. But I have four kids, and to the best of my recollection, I don't recall sprouting an extra arm when that last child arrived.
It's like I was out there in the world for so many years being motherless and then one morning I peed on a stick and suddenly I was a mother. I couldn't have known then that the hole in my chest would only get bigger and that my loneliness would be married to the fact that I was motherless. I will never know love like this again, I thought, as I sat next to her hospital bed for the last time.
