Smoothies can be a great quick and easy meal on the go, but without a good source of protein, they can leave you feeling hungry 30 minutes later. I often use Greek yogurt for that very reason, but recently I've had a lot of clients looking for a vegan protein option, so I got to testing.

Wonton Soup is probably my ultimate comfort food. As far back as I can remember, my Ma-Ma (my Chinese Grandma) used to drive up to Kamloops to visit us every summer. I always looked forward to her annual ritual of folding fresh wontons to stock us up for the winter. I remember sitting at our kitchen table as she showed me her trick to make the folded edges of the dumplings stick.
We know that refined sugars don't do much for us, but how does this impact weight loss? Refined sugars in things like sweets, juice and pop are digested and absorbed very quickly. This can leave us with spikes and drops in blood sugar levels that leave us tired, grumpy and craving more sugar.
