Dealing With Trolls In A Donald Trump World

Back when the primaries kicked off, the trolls found a common hero in Trump. Someone on the outside the norm of the establishment, someone not taken seriously. Someone himself a master at getting reactions from making a single statement. I mean, that's the whole purpose of trolling, isn't it? Get people defensive and engage them to react with real emotions and sincerity.

How Sports Heroes Become Punchlines

Disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong and Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o became punchlines on late-night talk shows and social media this week -- Armstrong for his two-part confessional with Oprah Winfrey and Te'o for apparently having been a part (unwittingly, or otherwise) of a huge hoax. We laugh, but these stories are honestly more sad and sick, than funny. They are drawn from the deep, dark well of black humour.
