Ruling My Runway on Day Four of WMCFW

I woke up with a lot of anxiety this morning. I was nervous, anxious, excited and believe it or not, scared of my return to the runway in my hometown, strutting exclusively for designer and Farley Chatto. Although I've had the privilege to walk in other shows around the world, Toronto Fashion Week is always near and dear to my heart.

Fearless Fashionistas On Day Three Of Fashion Week

I attended the Pink Tartan, Joe Fresh and Mackage shows, all of which were fantastic. I especially enjoyed the cool new generation of fashionistas rocking they're avant-garde style. The tent was buzzing with fearlessness! Being a fearless risk-taker sets you apart from everyone else. It establishes originality, uniqueness and makes fashion FUN.

Love In The Air on Day Two of WMCFW

Day two of fashion week was all about LOVE! Trying to recuperate from day one, my original plan was to chill out until the evening shows began. However, true to the unpredictable nature of the fashion industry, I got booked last minute for a photo shoot and that trumped all of my plans!

Helping Others Like Gaultier Helped Me

When I met Jean Paul Gaultier, I was very close to reaching my breaking point. The bullying, teasing, criticisms, hate, and NOs were beginning to take their toll on me. Jean Paul was the first designer to tell me I was beautiful. Jean was also the first to encourage me to stay true to myself and pay no mind to what anyone thought. If it weren't for Jean Paul Gaultier, I wouldn't have been offered many of my modeling or acting opportunities. We are all blessed with our individual talents, gifts, and opportunities for a reason. It's my hope that I can use mine to share, inspire, and help others -- like Gaultier helped me.
