Every Girl Deserves To Discover Her Own Superpower

As a black female robotics researcher, I know that I am different than most of my colleagues. I joined a robotics class in elementary school and the world of technology opened up for me. After making my first project, I saw myself as a super heroine -- I had discovered my superpower -- and felt that I was beginning to acquire the tools and skills to broaden my horizons and change my life's path.

Women Are Dreaming Bigger and Speaking Louder

Across the Fortune 500 companies and throughout cities worldwide, women appear to hold the short end of the stick. Women are considerably underrepresented as CEOs, officers, and directors in the corporate world. Since women occupy nearly half the total work force in the United States, what is the reasoning behind these inexplicable labour statistics?
