Instead of attempting to sing to you, I'll just say it: it's the most wonderful time of the year!

With these winter holidays come holiday parties, which can only mean one thing: the perfect outfit is needed. Just call me Mr. Miyagi, my young grasshoppers, because I'm here to help. I've carefully curated some of my favourite and fashionable styles to guide you on the path to sartorial bliss.

When hemlines lowered across international runways the past few seasons, the maxi dress officially became this year's comeback kid. Not only does a floor-length gown amp up your glamour factor, but you can also get away with wearing the Spanx equivalent of a wetsuit. I love this gold sequined maxi dress by River Island because it's sleek, chic and sure to make heads spin (like Linda Blair, minus the vomit).
