Shannon Kadlovski, BA, CNP, NNCP, is a Certified Nutritionist and Healthy Lifestyle Specialist. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree from York University, she enrolled at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition, where she obtained her Certified Nutritional Practitioner (CNP) designation. She also holds the designation of Natural Nutritional Coach and Practitioner (NNCP), as an active member of the CANNP.

Shannon is the owner and chief nutritionist at BareNaked Nutrition in Richmond Hill. She consults one-on-one, as well as with groups, helping individuals achieve their health goals. Shannon offers hands-on cooking classes, healthy living workshops, and a variety of fun and educational online wellness programs. She leads corporate nutrition programs and is the creator of “BareNaked at Work” workshops for businesses across the GTA. She writes health and wellness articles for Huffington Post, TONIC, and Naturally Savvy Magazines, and is the author of two e-books titled “Get the Gunk Out” and “Simple Summer Salads Sides and Sippers.”

Shannon is a regular guest expert on “In the Know” as well as “Daytime” on Rogers TV. She is also the community producer of “Healthy Helpings” on Rogers TV, where she shares tips for living a healthy lifestyle.

Shannon’s primary goal is to help people achieve optimal health through proper nutrition. She works to prevent and manage illness by encouraging her clients to eat foods that are specifically tailored to their needs. She focuses on proper diet, supplementation, and lifestyle changes in order to treat a variety of conditions including: allergy and food intolerances, anxiety, depression, headaches, decreased energy levels, hormonal and glandular imbalances, insomnia, poor immune function, diabetes, and digestive issues, as well as nutrition for fitness and sport, and weight management.

Shannon’s approach to health is simple – eat wholesome, natural, clean foods as much as possible and try to minimize the amount of processing and chemicals involved. Don’t give up the foods you love, just choose healthier versions of them. Don’t take yourself too seriously or be too hard on yourself, it’s all about balance.
