“I find it hard to believe that this so called prank is the one reason for this person to take their life. I am not saying that it didn’t play a part in this tragic event, yet I believe there must have been other issues going on in this womans life that played a big part in her choice to take her own life.”

“People have issues. Life is painful some of the time. Pranks are always cruel. We all know it. People shouldn't get license just because they've found a way to make money mocking others.”

A Letter to Wealthy Men Who Date Young Women

“First a shallow response. Young women are on average better looking than there older counterpart which comes strikingly apparent in the gap from 30 to 50 years old. For successful men who have a large pool of suitors to choose from why wouldn't they choose a mate they find more physically appealing. I would hope their decision isn't based purely on how sexy they find their casing but I see nothing inherently wrong with that choice.
A more serious concern with your article is that it completely undervalues the worth of these wealthy men. Not their monetary value but their personality or charisma, most people don't just fall into success they have to work for it and it takes a certain drive and strong personality to make it.”

“I do not disagree with you that it is sad. But the reality is, the rescues would not be able to happen without funding. If the Aquarium did release all the life in the pools, what do you think would happen to them? Those beautiful creatures are totally dependant on their human handlers. I would think most would perish within a short time of release. And the aquarium would not have the funding to continue the rescues, a very sad ending to such good work. My thoughts, it’s lesser of two evils. I do not believe in captivity. But I understand the need.”

“Another point to add is that captive animals allow for the general public, some of which who may not be knowledgeable of the species, to witness them in person; therefor allowing more people to be sympathetic to said species endangerment. Some people may think a beluga is a big dumb "fish", but if they see their true beauty and intelligence in person they may no longer be so quick to dismiss them.”

“I absolutely agree with night...to a point. It is a sad thing to see such beautiful creatures in captivity. When I was 13 I signed a pledge to never go to the aquarium again, because of the caged animals. But after doing more research I have found the aquarium does some amazing work with rescue and release. They save hundreds of lives with this program, and it’s not cheap. I am quite sure that the aquarium uses moneys collected at the gate to help fund the rescue efforts. For this reason, I suport the vancouver aquarium.”

“I will applaud them for their rescue and release efforts once they release them all and let them have a taste of FREEDOM before they all die in captivity please! This is so sad.”
