“I know someone that is has a Doctorate in Biochemistry and is a chronic pot smoker. I guess he would be a genius then if he stopped smoking pot?”

KarmaBites2013 on May 16, 2013 at 17:53:17

“Nope; smoking weed enables a person to "think outside the box". An entire new way of looking at things and the way they work opens up and amazing things happen.

My IQ when straight is 132.

My IQ when stoned is 153.

The man is brilliant because he SMOKES weed.”

“Please. No more "Fact Based" Television. AKA Reality TV.

If you've seen it on a reality show then it was scripted BS, with underpaid writers who get classed as "advisers" to get around Guild rules.”

“You really have no clue how the New Canada really works do you?”

TA2011 on Jun 21, 2013 at 00:44:39

“What are you talking about? New Canada?
The fact is, most of the time when jobs are posted online, there are so many applicants that many never get reviewed. When there is no human connection, it is easy to throw away resumes from a pile.
Unless your new Canada means youth living in their parents basement part time applying for jobs online, part time on Facebook, I don't want any part of that "new Canada".”

“48% turnout
44.4% of those people voted BC Liberal (right wing coalition)
Which means 21.26% of voters actually voted for her party.

In 11 ridings. Combined Green and NDP vote exceeded liberal vote and if combined would have resulted in a landslide loss for the Liberals.”

“You mean the ~21.36% of the voting electorate that actually voted for her party?

Also, if Green vote had been added to NDP vote in 11 ridings the combined party would have one a landslide election. So your argument is as true as your parties "facts".”

“I edited an interview with a native carver from Vancouver Island where he describes the babies that were taken from raped mothers (school children) by nuns to be smothered and buried. The fathers were the priests. How many of those children were in this report?

One might add that these schools were not just for Natives, many immigrant children were also forced to attend the barbaric institutions.”

TwoZeroOZ on Feb 1, 2013 at 10:40:05

“The frequencies are very different - your neighbour's WiFi will cause interference orders of magnitude higher than these Smart Meters will, and any router made in the past decade is very capable of dealing with that. It's more likely that something else is the culprit, like a variation of the nocebo effect.”
