“No we knew the man and we forgave him his trespass, we didn't jump the gun and condemned him. Because common sense tells us that when a premier, a man of his stature stumbles into a shelter late at night intoxicated there is more to the story than meets the eye and in that case, Alberta's showed compassion by giving him the benefit of the doubt.”

“Really. If you were one of the people in the shelter being insulted, would you be so forgiving.”
“Only time i update a ios device is when something goes wrong with it and i have to restore. The only thing updates seem to be good for is finding new and more efficient ways to drain my battery.”

“Oh, updates are far more fun than that! ...don't ya' love what they can do to your multiple calendars, and hey!, how about spending the next few days discovering how screwed your contacts really are. Yessiree, love them updates.. it's like putting more fins on your shark..!”

“Exactly. And when given a choice between shrinking the size of an already thin phone, or using that space for more battery capacity, Apple chose the former. Apple has really dropped off this past year. Maybe Cook needs to skip tonights SotU and focus on his company's direction.”
“Yup but you can always use "SRWare iron"bits google chrome without the google. The germans had the same concerns and created this browser. So you get all the benefits without your info being taken without your consent.”

“I wasnt aware oprahs network was in canada i suppose, you cant exactly be mad at her. Running a Tv network does require you to be able to watch it id imagine. But the headline is designed to make you think its about edmonton quite misleading. When its only about one hotel at the end of the day.”
“Women feel insecure, like they there is something is wrong with them if u tell em u didnt climax, especially if it happens often. No matter how much you tell em its nothing to do with them. Then they start thinking you're cheating because you cant climax with them and all the bloody headaches with come with a paranoid woman nagging you. Its better to fake it sometimes because if you push it she might quit before you finish, talking about how sore she is or you're grinding away for too long, long after it has stopped being pleasurable for her. If you fake it before she gets sore you can get another shot that night or the next morning. Without the stress.”
“After being an iphone user for 4 years ive grown fatigued and bored of the current U.I but it was the epic loss of battery life after updating that was the last straw. I think the u.i needs a bit of a refresh before iphone 5 comes out.”

“Get a samsung galaxy s II or III and stop whining- for Gods sakes.
The UI on any droid is absolutely customizable -there are simple "kitchens" you can download the software and create your own UI- or just use the custom roms others in the development community use to change it up daily if your that into change...
Android is about not being told what to do- like a lil kid. Its freedom of choice in pricing, UI, and phone models.
I don't understand why so many so-called "creative people" all bind together like sheep with the exact same phone with the exact same stale UI...with the same exact missing features other smartphone users that paid less "have".
I hope this Apple iPhone 5 has some features (not hype-like that silly siri)... taht advance the technology of smartphones. But I'm sure it's going to be just playing catchup to the Droids.... bigger screen? 4G? Microsd card? Finally catching up after 3 years... is going to be ballyhooed like its some technological advances- when its just plain old catching up after being in the dust after 3 years.
Come on Apple- surprise me pleasantly.......(as if...).”
“Secret love affairs have always been the bread and butter of the tabloids the question isn't "why should we care if he's allegedly gay?" it should be "why should a alleged gay affair be treated any different than a straight one?" Should he get tabloid immunity because it's about a homosexual situation? Why should you care? You don't have to care, you just have to be interested. You prove your interest with every click and page hit, grandstanding on your principles in the comment box does not nullify that fact. I'm here because I wanted to see what was being said and so are you. Harvey levin didn't get millions of tmz bucks because you CARED about Lindsay Lohans drunken escapades or because you CARE about who Kim Kardashian was spotted with, it's because you are interested enough to waste 2 mins on finding out. If you weren't, tabloids would be out of business and princess diana would still be alive.”

“Harper has overstayed his welcome. Off topic, age is really doing a number on Dave thomas I had to hit google images to remind myself what he used to look like, I saw Dan rather on bill maher recently and he looks younger than Dave in that photo.”
Mynameisian on Jun 1, 2012 at 18:47:12
“Dave is probably aging naturally - the ones who look 20 years younger than they are are either doing hgh or are heavy into the injections or plastic surgery. Go natural is my motto - if for nothing else, just to see how u look old”

“A large part of the reason the stock is down over the last couple years is its loss of marketshare. Using android would have them developing their competitor google's platform while competing against itself. That would allow the windows phone platform to outpace them and put them in a position to cripple their own recovery.”

“Rim is a security company with a large corporate and government base that depends on its high level encryption. Android is open source software, the galaxy s3 is already rooted and the phone hasn't even hit shelves yet. If rim is terminally Ill switching to android is the equivalent of putting two barrels from a Winchester in it's mouth and pulling the trigger.”

“Whats a far right salute? | remember far left members of the civil rights movement using this same salute am i missing something?”
rabidrightwatch on Apr 17, 2012 at 04:01:38
“Good point - this 'far-right' salute has been adopted from the movement you mention, but it's also reminiscent of the closed-fist salute used by the diametrically opposite movement - the far left.
Uncle Adolf adopted his far-right salute from the Roman 'salutation' - so a history lesson may be required in today's equivalent movement.
Of course, if they used the proper far-right salutation, people would recognise them for what they really are - neonazis, plain and simple...

Gisburne is wrong. The civil rights movement used a fist raised in the air.”

“It's a term the mainstream media love throwing around at the moment. If you're not commited to the cultural, religious, ethnic erosion of your people you're a 'far right' extremist. Unless you're non-white of course. Then you're standing up for your people against white oppression.
As for the salute - yeah that does seem to remind me more of far-left salutes than anything I've seen in the so-called 'far-right'. Has any explanation actually been given as to why this is a 'far-right' salute? Where is it from?”

“im interested to know the trajectory of the bullet it should shed a lot of light on zimmermans depiction of the event.”
Eleventh Hour on Apr 12, 2012 at 18:09:13
“Now this one bears real importance in this case, and it may make or break his outcome. We can't be sure if his arms were pinned down along his sides and under Trayvon's legs, or if they were upward and free. I've assumed they were downward, which would allow him to work them up so he could reach the pistol, and pull it upward and out of his waistband. Because I see this as a panicked moment for him, I believe he would have immediately released the safety as he moved the pistol upward. I think as soon as he had it positioned and aimed as well as he could manage, he fired. It seems that the dire straits he saw himself in pushed his focus from accuracy to speed. Unless Trayvon knew he was going for the pistol, I think it was fairly uncomplicated. If Trayvon did know and tried to move himself out of line for the impending shot, then trajectory becomes an issue. The possibilities are numerous. This one instance could change everything.”
