What's Really Killing Print Journalism

What's Really Killing Print Journalism

Commented Nov 6, 2012 at 18:07:58 in Canada Business

“Print journalism as a whole has not kept up with the times. We need to get our news fix within seconds and/or on the go. Social media and online classified sites such as Craigslist and Sortopia have impacted and been the demise of print media. It has replaced the way we receive news and has changed the way we interact with each other. And this is done at lightening speeds. The added benefit of advertising dollars reaching millions instead of thousands and in the blink of an eye is bewildering but is the way of the future. The only ones who will hold on dearly for print are the same ones who can't remember how to stop the clock from blinking 12:00 on the VCR.”
