“Michael Sona: 'I Thought This Would Turn Out Different'
********************************

Why would you think that, Michael? Your membership in the CPC? Promises that the ReformaTories would hamstring, delay, and obstruct the investigation by the Commissioner of Elections?

You did the CRIME, now do the time! Or turn in the UNDEMOCRATIC, CRIMINAL lowlifes who authorized this ATTACK ON OUR DEMOCRACY.”

“Several years ago, when I lived in Fort McMurray, I received a call from the CPC asking if I would consider joining the party.

I told the young lady that I had long ago decided to join the Conservative party on my deathbed. She asked me "But why on your deathbed?"

To which I replied, "Better a Tory should die than an NDPer".”

Michael, it should be DEFINITELY PRISON. What you did was contemptible because interfering with a person's right to vote is nothing less than an attack on the foundations of our democratic system.

If I had my way, you'd be in prison until you named ALL those involved in this CRIMINAL conspiracy, and testified against them.”

Why??? Because Coors Light is too much like its principal ingredient - water.

Personally, the extreme right wing views of Joseph Coors removed ANY desire to imbibe his "beer". I refused free Coors because of my distaste for his politics. He was one of the "patriots" employed by Ollie North to break US and international law in the Iran-Contra CRIMINAL scheme.”

“Tories Warn 'Everything' Is At Risk
Democratic Reform Minister Pierre Poilievre warns that unions are going to interject themselves in next year’s federal election to advance their “radical union agenda.”
********************************************

So when unions object to the Harper Government©™® toadying to corporations they are pursuing a “radical union agenda.”? To put the shoe on the other foot, if the ReformaTories pursue their undemocratic policies, aren't they advancing their "radical anti-union agenda"?

From reading the article, I see that some of the right-wing "brain" trust are blaming unions for the well-deserved defeat of Tim Hudak's Regressive Preservatives in the June election.

C'mon, boys, give credit where credit is due! Tim's defeat can be chalked up to two things, and they ALONE are responsible for the election result:

1. Tim's matheMAGICS, whereby he was going to increase government revenues by giving corporations (but not REAL persons) a 30% tax reduction. Hey, Tim, if you followed TRUE CONservative "thinking", and eliminated ALL corporate taxes, voilà, you'd have a balanced budget.

2. Tim's plan to increase employment in Ontario by 1,000,000 jobs, starting with him REDUCING government employees by 100,000.

See, no need to blame unions for what Tim accomplished all by himself.”

“"...vote trawling centrist Canadian politicians..."

No, there are a lot of things that the Harper Government©™® and its members can be accused of, and deservedly so, but calling them "centrist" is not one of them.

Their support of policies that favour the rich and the corporations, their opposition to science-based FACT and its implications for our future, their providing public moneys to fundamentalist religious, their attempts to restrict voting rights, and their displeasure at the Supreme Court for disallowing the ReformaTories' legislative agenda all go to prove that this incarnation of CONservatives are NOT "centrist", but are instead "far right -wing" ideologues.”

Of course, Stunned Noise (aka Fox "News" North) DID NOT point out that Trudeau visited the mosque in March 2011, and The US government didn't release their report about the mosque until April 2011.

The inclusion of that fact in their egregious and INACCURATE story would offend The Stunned's sense of duty to the CONservative party.

The ONLY useful function performed by this "news" organization is as an example of BAD JOURNALISM.

“Not the first time in Canadian politics. Back in the '70s, Senator Louis Giguere bought shares in Sky Shops International for less than $10,000, and applied his influence to reverse a decision NOT to renew SkyShops' lease at Dorval Airport. The lease was renewed, and Giguere sold his shares back to the company for a cool $100,000. He and two officers of the company (one of whom was Clarence Campbell, president of the NHL) were charged in 1976 with bribery.

Campbell and his colleague were found guilty of giving a bribe, and in a "masterpiece" of judicial reasoning, Senator Giguere was found not guilty of accepting it.”

*****************************

So Larry Miller has been "brain"-washed by his membership in the Harper Government©™® to think that the PM makes the rules, and all of Canada's citizens must be satisfied with what King Steve decides.

Well, the hell with that! Steve is working on fulfilling his promise that "You won't recognize Canada when I get through with it", but he hasn't YET accomplished his goal.

It is the duty of the Supreme Court to rule on the constitutionality of government actions, Larry, and all the injured protests of the ReformaTories won't change that fact.

Irving Layton once wrote "In Pierre Elliot Trudeau, Canada has at last produced a political leader worthy of assassination." Were he alive today, I think he would revise his statement.”
