Actually, from what I've read, and seen on Link TV in an interview, the entire movie was written by a couple of communists, as was much of the theater and movie scripts of the 1930s and 40s. There was a Popular Front, and that is a fact.”
“For those who talk of MIT's property rights, does it ever occur to you that MIT (not to mention other institutions) might be FLEECING you?
Consider that the Internet allows for virtually no cost storage of what would have taken literally 10 buildings probably and a small little army of labor to maintain before.
The cost for Internet usage varies, fixed costs should not (e.g. you pay a monthly fee, and only if you get a lot of hits does your price rise).
Yet MIT and all these other institutions have RAISED the cost of access!
There are so many ways in which post Reagan/Bush America destroys the functioning of a rel market economy, which sets prices according to value added, so many tricks and gimmicks and distortions, and this is one of them in my opinion, and its CRIMINAL,”

Well said and fundamentally correct. What made "successes" (sic) "Mitt" possible was an underlying philosophy of "Heads I Win...Tails YOU LOSE !!"
This mode of thinking, considered "clever" by those "in the know" and fully conversant with the new "rules" of "free" trade and "globalism and tax avoidance, represents a fundamental distortion and subversion of capitalism, a subversion which institutionalizes a two tier government which represents itself as for and of the people while simultaneously supporting a corporatist infestation which undermines and distorts normal legislation, legal activities and business operations to favor a single point of view, the inviolate supremacy of the business rather than the individual.
Fanned AND Faved !”

“Well then, if MIT is "fleecing" you, and YOU have a problem with MIT, do as I have suggested to people with similar problems with Walmart.....DON'T USE IT !!! PROBLEM SOLVED !!!!”

Boy, there is nothing we Americans love to see more than a "winner" strutting around.
I read recently that the entire reason for inventing awards shows like this was so the British Kings did not have to give those who served him or her well, actual property, like lands. Medals and parchement were ever so much cheaper.
Sometimes, even, I think all the wars are so alpha males and females can strut.
Those of us whose lives are a living hell on earth SALUTE you all!! Like little stupid amoeba, we live vicariously through you, talk about you as if you lived next door,”
“No, there were not. You are mistaken or you lie.”
SouthStJo on Jan 13, 2013 at 11:05:47
“I'm not mistaken or Lying, I'm just not myopic or ignorant. Are you even aware that WW3 happened in Africa during the 90s and nobody noticed? Even outside of Africa The Balkan civil wars, the Chechen/Russian wars, major Uighur uprisings, heck the fighting in Afghanistan in the 90s makes today's instability there look like woodstock. ”
“If Washington wants to leave it is to go somewhere else in their never ending war, NEVER ending war and slaughter all over the world.”
SouthStJo on Jan 12, 2013 at 14:43:56
“I got news for you: "never ending war, NEVER ending war and slaughter all over the world." is something that constantly happens regardless of if Washington goes there or not. Heck, there were more wars and far more people killed in wars in the 90s than the 2000s”
“Well, I will not vote for her, she as a most despicable hypocrit, and I will either not vote or vote republican for the first time in my life.”
mikep on Jan 10, 2013 at 22:03:27
“I have to agree. She'd be a godsend to the Republicans. I don't know why people think she's popular; she's really not. She's extremely unpopular outside of the NY-DC beltway. One of the most polarizing figures in the country. There may be a small group of diehard liberals who like her but there are large groups on both the left and right who utterly despise her. I can't stand the Republicans and have never even considered voting for one, but I'd have no problem voting for one if Hillary was the Demo choice. But she could never win the nomination anyway. She tried before and blew it badly.”

“Yeah, because that tactic worked out SO well in 2010.

“You say that before we even know who is officially running...
There's not ONE Democrat you'd consider voting for?”
youngandthinking on Jan 10, 2013 at 20:37:33
“That's good for you, give it to someone who'd wreck the country in no time because of a personal feeling”
“It is not honorable to invade sovereign nations and take a long walk with big guns in other people's lands. The Taliban killed some women in public in a stadium. How many women and children have WE killed and slaughtered.
“Wherever we go, war and destruction, mayhem and failed states; the only places that have survived our malice for all are those like Vietnam who fought to the death against our little walk in their country as we tried to steal it from them.”
“No, Hagel was not "more outspoken against Bush" because 250 Dems in the Congress voted against the Iraq invasion. We had MEETINGS in my neighborhood from our congress people, at my child's school, first and last time ever, on this issue, so do not try to lie to ME.
Second, Hagel was correct, Bush was wrong, Bush and his neocons were entirely idiotic and disgustingly stupid, everything they did in Iraq was insanely stupid and/or a big fat lie. And it has bankrupted us.”

“Maybe you should ask Obama to nominate you?”
PhillipCollins on Jan 6, 2013 at 11:02:34
“I agree. Now... let me school you, hoss. Obama is as much the war monger Bush was. Killing innocent children with his drone attacks in Yemen and Syria. So hopefully Hagel will speak up on THAT issue as well. Bush and Obama are BOTH murderers.”
