“She wanted to be a princess, didn't she. She could have said no to marrying a man nearly old enough to be her father...and twice her age!.
What was her rush?? And was she so delusional that she thought that a man so much older, and wealthier, and experienced, would be "captivated" by a teenager whose life experience consisted of being a kid, then a child care worker at a preschool?
How dumb can a perosn be. And after they were finished, she still was looking for that wealthy man to make her life whole, instead of concentrating on being a mom and enjoying her time with her boys...”

“Diana was in love with Charles, and was heartbroken by his deception. He never intended on giving up Camilla, and even told Diana that every Prince of Wales had had a mistress, why shouldn't he? He was only eleven or twelve years older than she was, hardly old enough to be her father. I dare say there aren't too many mothers who focus so much on their children as she did, either, and who was she supposed to date, a plumber? She could have spent the remainder of her life jetsetting but she chose to bring awareness to issues that no one else wanted to touch such as AIDS and land mines.”

“You might get a benefit, but there are thousands who find the snarky, holier-than-thou attitude of the snot nosed, biased reporters and spokespeople of the CBC, just want to make us gag.
And some of the music they play - seriously - some people will submit to any foolishness if they think that it makes them look intellectually superior.
In the end, they are a bunch of coddled politically correct wannabes, who sound like they need to clear out their sinuses.”

“Better the Brits than say the French. Look at how well the French 'colonies' have fared over the years- in places like Haiti, Somalia, Morrocco, Lebanon, the Congo, suriname,ALgeria, Nigeria, Indonichia, Vietnam. . .. just to name a few French conquests over the years who have done so well . . .”

“Where did that come from? Got an issue with France?”
“Ever see "Little Mosque on the Prarie" - oh wait, the name is a knockoff of "Little House on the Prarie:. . . .what about "Corner Gas". . .somewhat similar to "Northern Exposure", how about "Davinci's Inquest", - oh that inspiration was a cross between "Quincy", and "Bones". . - Gues sthe just want to make sure the show has viewers.
Canadian shows aren't usually a big success.
They seem to try too hard to be different- to the point where the cast seem still and unreal, and the storyline is just wa too hokey.
Plus, we grew up on American TV. And those of us whose families go back a few generations often have more in common with Americans, than with any sort of manufactured identity the politically correct media outlines for us.
Basically, we come from the same stock as the U.S., with the main difference that England got to keep a portion of our taxes.
How are we different?”

“Seems like there are more than enough 'qualified' people to take up the slack. How many offices are overstaffed, where the folks with their degrees spend half the day socializing with their peers, going out for break, picking up supplies, or to the fitness club nearby. .”
“Not ashamed to be a Canadian...just did not like the character - when people try too hard, they end up being annoying. ANd when they look like him, they are really going overboard with whatever image it is they are trying to project. It's really sad that for some odd reasons, the politically correct brownosers who do the casting for these shows figure that they have to include all sorts of people to be entertaining.Maybe he should apply for Ruepauls drag race... ”
“He should just get a sex change operation.
He looks like a freak.
He's only the winner to people who are lusting after him. He's really irritating.”

“Really...you think Gary looks like freak? Have you seen your own profile picture?!”
chaserpilot on May 3, 2013 at 09:24:03
“Are you kidding me??? You should be ashamed to be Canadian. Gary doesn't need to get a sex change (unless he actually wants one)... Maybe he likes being a guy??? Just because he's effiminate doesn't mean he wants to go through a transition. I can't even go into what's wrong with your statement. You are truly a pathetic human being.”
“So blame the victims?Sounds like what the police used to do to rape victims about 50 years ago. They were following their Muslim roots- that is where their dissent is coming from.It is up to each of us to control our anger and rage... Funny how these muslim terrorists are always so brave with their bombs- then when they are caught, how they squeal like little pigs and whine about how misunderstood they are, and how delicate their poor feelings are, and how they are being bullied and their human rights are being violated, because people are angry with them for blowing up defenceless, innocent children, women and men who are just going about living their lives. ”
No wonder they had no American friends...they look about as friendly as a dead fish.
Hopefully the U.S. will take a look at their immigration policies and revamp them....getting to be too many of these folks in the U.S. & Canada....and look at what they "bring to the table".
Zozzer on Apr 19, 2013 at 19:24:27
“OMG, so because they don't look friendly they should have their visa's revoked? Gonna be a exodus of people from this country.
Remember the suspects spent 10 years in the USA, these are not fresh from Chechnya kids. they would have been 9 and 16 when they arrived in the USA. Should not the USA look to itself to see why long time Americans want to destroy it?”

“TAxes aren't collected on the sale of pot, nor are any income taxes, CPP or EI collected from those who risk their lives to grow the stuff. They could be safe and have a respectable job, and also contribute to the economy if it were legalized.
But the the lawyers, high level crime bosses, judges, RCMP & prison guards would lose out on some of the money they make from prohibition...”

“A person should be high when they are working- no matter what the job ( would a drunk firefighter be any better?)
So did the guy with the damaged pserm have any proof that it was his defective sperm that made the prenancy terminate, or was it a defective fetus, or something in the mother that cause it to abort? Because it would be kinda hard to prove the dude had rotten sperm because of his pot smoking- maybe it was alcohol abuse, or maybe he sniffed glue, or maybe he drank too much fluoride in his water, or did too many aspirin when he was younger, or had radon in the basement, or lived in a large polluted city..or had too many x-rays, or smoked too many ciggies, or ate something with rat poison in ti,,,,.Where;s his proof that the only thing he contaminated his body with was pot, and not that he ingested some other damaging substance, or even because he was deficient in zinc, or other minerals in vitamins and protein??
Your assumptions are ridiculous and unscientificlly proven.”

“I in cars driven by people stoned on pot - they are cso autious it is quite funny. You should watch the Cheech & Chong movies- it might give you some insight.
People will smoke pot regardless of people who are ignorant of the effects of pot, want.
My sister & I( both in our 50s) are still able to "score" whenever we want - helpful when we got my mother to try it in her last stages of cancer when her chemo make her so nauseous, she couldn't look at food, or rest.
I have been aware of pot for over 40 years now. I can smoke it if I want, but I find it mostly gives me the munchies and makes me sleepy, so I do not indulge very often. But I know people in my age group who are successful lawyers, accountants, and even an elected official,, who smoke nearly every day to relax... like a person who likes a beer or cocktail to wind down after work .
They haven't become heroin addicts. They don't beat their wives & kids. They are just normal people, who choose pot over alcohol..
The book you have citing defective sprerm, brain damaged kids, concentration problems- does it say these people have never had a drink of alcohol, or taken any prescription drugs, or lived around pollution, or had radon in their basements, or used fluoridated water?
Is it called "Devil Weed" by any chance, published circa 1920s?”

“So, don't forget to get out and show your support for legalizing marijuana....Get out and march in your city/town/community on APRIL 20TH.
The only people who really benefit form prohibition are organized criminals, who pay no sales or payroll taxes on the growing, or slae of pot; police officers who get to go kick down a door and gather up some plants for a quick bit of overtime, easier than actually going after violent criminals & bullies; lawyers who earn upwards of $500 an hour for showing up in court, either as defence lawyer or the prosecution; the judges, who seem to prefer hearing this sort of case over those that require making an informed decision about a sentence; prison guards, and any of the 'professionals' who servie the prisons.”

“Agree Sinclair- there have been gang rapes around for all time. . anywhere you have a group of ill-bred, ignorant males , trying to prove how manly they are by violent acts against a helpless, defenceless weaker vicim- whether a girl, an animal or an old person.
The perpetuators of the crime seem to have no concept of what is decent behaviour, and are so far down the evolutionary ladder they still practice behaviour that even the most feral of any scavengers find repulsive . .”

“Aren't the diplomats the ones complaining about the money? Isn't the salary listed when the perosn applies for the job? DOn't these jobs look great on a resume?
Sorry, but if you wanted the job, you were aware of the salary & working conditions. Nobody forced you to take the job- it isn't like you were drafted into the position.
So why the complaints ? You knew what you were in for.”
Apr 7, 2013 at 07:06:27
“If you are so concerned about the salary being paid, why would you apply in the first place? The salaries are posted?
Are you that egomaniacle that you think you are the only person suit to r='represent Canda" in another country?
If you find the living conditions so scarey- then find a different source of employment.”
DiploBoy on Apr 7, 2013 at 10:45:38
“For love of country and service. Yes, the salaries are posted, but who is going to tell you when it comes time to negotiate your expired contract, the government will try to screw you and not even give you increases that cover inflation? Again, we accept the conditions, but expect to be compensated equal to, or better than, those who don't have to accept those conditions. Don't forget the other government trick, where they stretch out negotiations 4-5 years before they sign. Salary is paid retroactively, but with NO interest, so it's in their best interest not to settle.”
