Is it Ever OK to Punish Someone Else's Child?

“I am a huge believer in the "village" mentality! Having said that, I would never physically punish someone else's child. I have friends and family who form my village, we have each other's back when it comes to parenting! We expect it of each other.

I would not typically correct a stranger's child verbally unless they were unsupervised and putting themselves or others in danger.”

“I guess it's the nature of twins that fascinates people, but it must be tiring for your twins to still be going through this! I'll have to steel myself and my boys for the barrage of questions that they're going to get growing up, considering that they're identical. Sigh.”
