“Canadians never cease to amaze with with their sheer stupiduity and nonsense.. Their ears are bookends for a vacuum . Makes me ashamed to be a Canadian.
They excel at being cheapskates except where they're concerned and
a bunch of pikers too boot.”

“J know exactly what you mean you are amazing me with your sheer stupidity”

It's not Stephen Harper who will put Canada into a third world status it would be the opposition
We were well on the way before Harper took over -check your history, And putting Canadians at risk is a bit over the top, Life in Canada is good. I'd like to know what you would replace it with. Your moniker is well chosen.”

“how much destruction of our country's economy will the harper dictatorship regime complete before you guys wake up...”

“Harper inherited massive surpluses, a strong financial sector and a housing market that was booming....Now we have massive deficits, shattered environmental standards, housing markets ready to crash, and a financial sector that's just been downgraded. He got lucky during the 2008 crash and following depression, but it's all about to come crashing down in Canada. The tarsands will collapse because they're too expensive and Harper's basket carrying all his eggs will break. This government is the worst in Canadian history, hands down.”

“I'm sorry, do you even live here?
I ask because apparently you have no idea what's been going on for the past five years.”
DuffsCorner on Jan 30, 2013 at 13:55:20
“"We we well on our way" to prosperity before Harper took over unless you prefer a massive deficit and billions in additional debt to a surplus and paying down the debt.
Apparently Harper prefers spend and bankrupt to conservative fiscal policy.”
DoctorHorror on Jan 30, 2013 at 13:47:28
“Harper wrote an article that states, less jobs means people compete for jobs. By selling out our resources to China, NAFTA, and providing tax breaks for corporations is just a leading factor of his hidden agenda.
Yes, Harper put Canadians at risk during the g20 summit and in turn had police arrest innocent people in Toronto.
Anytime Baird speaks up against other countries we are put at risk. The middle east is a problem created by the U.K and U.S for the greed of oil. We have no business in that mess as we have enough resources to sustain ourselves. We are not ready for globalization as other countries to do not have the same standard of living, human rights. So instead of us saying "we weill only deal with you internaionali if you treat workers better" Instead he says we need to compete and that means lower wages, and less laws to protect workers.”

“This story was not about the opposition. It is about Governments being held to account for misleading the people. All governments lie or mislead us, but the treatment of Page was so outrageous. I am a fiscal conservative and was appalled by the constant and long term misrepresentation of the facts of F35 program by Harper. He only relented when it was obvious to all that the emperor had no clothes.
I do not accept your implied premise that we need to look the other way because if we do not we will end up electing the opposition.”
“It amazes me how you 'northern republicans' like to credit Harper for making Canada such a great country. And when did you begin your auto-colonoscopy? Don't forget to come up for air once in awhile!!!!!”

“I completely agree with Peter Wothington's indicment of the pathetiic state of jounalism in this country.where hard questions are deemed and unwarranted. Whatever happened to investigative jounalism . The main stream media in this country have abolished it. More's the pity”

“I'm sorry but I stand by my defence. I am entitled to my opinion whether or not you
agree with it. It's called free speech.”

“worthington? LOL - Are you seriously defending this bubble blonde? she is to journalism and respectability as the harper government is to competence and honesty.”
“The R.C.M.P. on many occasions have gone too far and other times not far enough. High time
they were rained in and the quicker the better before they either injure themselves or some innocent person through tactics reminiscent of dictatorial regimes.

“I agree that all the oil avaialabe in Canada should be refined in Canada for Canadian Consumption . When that demand is taken care of then we can export the surplus.
Simple just one problem where area we going to get the refineries, who will pay for them
and how will the environmentalist react. May not be as simple as it appears”
Canadian1978 on Mar 18, 2013 at 14:23:46
“we have refineries in the east we import 40 percent of the oil Canada uses at full worl prices and refine it all over the east”
“Nice report but it doesn't include the reasons for night timt driving being more risky by some
For instance was weather conditions taken into account, or the efficiency of the vehicles
headlights for range ( depth) and brilliance. If some of these accidents happened at dusk
was the sun a factor Dusk is abad time as well. Even traffic lights at night can be a problem
especially if the background of the lights is of the same colour as the signal. This has happened in the past, Just a few things that I think would polish the report a bit..”

“Elsie, for God's sake get real. We both know that the comparison you make between the
federal conservatives and Nelson is totally out in left field and I find it totally impossible that any intelligent individual could draw such a comparison, Such individuals have the right to vote to which I would have to say "Oh Canada"
manitobastudent on Feb 25, 2013 at 16:09:33
“Robo-calls to influence election results? Does that ring a bell? The Harper government actually admitted that they were behind that little scam in Saskatchewan. There is the comparison that you are unwilling/unable to admit.
Of course the followers of the media forgot all about that after the Cons threw that Brazeau guy under the bus right after they admitted it.”
“I totally agree with what Kenney wants to do. It's about time someone did.
For far too long Canadian citizenship has served as a way out for these types
of individuals who come to grief in other jurisdictions. It should also be removed from those who also use it as a convenience to avail themselves of our services while residing elsewhere.”

“Tell me about it, when you have CEO's addicted to money and hurt our way of lives. When you have Nortel executives not in jail, and when you have a PM who puts Canadians at risk for his own agenda. Yes the justice system sucks.”

“I always thought women wer good with money but these two ladies have laid that presumption to rest”
Stopthependulum on Jan 31, 2013 at 09:44:31
“Well, two things: I am a man and have seen as many women who were good with money as i've seen bad. I have also seen as many men who were good with their money as there were bad. In this case, it isn't their money. In this case, Wynne JUST got in, give her a damn chance to prove herself (my expectations are more windfalls for corporations, more cuts for citizens, but I can give her the benefit of the doubt). If Grobion's numbers are correct (@8:17), then one could assume that Redford has a lot of proving to do as far as her fiscal abilities. As long as politicians work harder at insuring themselves a nice post politics boardroom job than at providing us with good government, what they do fiscally will never make sense to us.”
