“No one is asking the service be provided for NOTHING.BUT the government could PROVIDE IT AT COST.

The only reason I have it is for those who need it when they visit us(work related)You are a typical city dweller who gives not a rat`s as.s. about his neighbor or anyone else.

Insulting another is NOT a sign of maturity.. in fact it is rather sad....
Have a pleasant Holiday season”

Jebus Lives on Dec 10, 2013 at 15:24:15

“Government involvement may be required, but certainly not at the federal level.

Get the village council together, collect the money required to establish broadband infrastructure, then build it out.

... just don't expect my tax dollars to pay for your broadband.

PS - If insulting others is sad, then you are sad indeed: "Ever give the a thought?"”

“Without those of us in rural areas working in Mines, logging, fishing, farming.
Your cities WOULD NOT EXIST.........Ever give the a thought?”

Jebus Lives on Dec 9, 2013 at 23:15:12

“I thought of that after reading your first post.

Check your meds there oldsob, you're forgetting things.

To drive the point home - Consider living in a place with a population of 2500 or more if you want broadband.”

“How would your city survive without us in the mining . logging and farming in the rural areas?
You might not need the transit..IF you had no job to commute to.”

Jebus Lives on Dec 9, 2013 at 23:11:42

“I'm not saying you should stop these things. I'm saying that people who do these things need to pay for internet.

The people you describe, miners, foresters, live in Vanderhoof BC with a population of 5000 people, you can get broadband there.

If you're a fisherman living in New Glasgow NS, with a population of 9000 people, you can get broadband.

If your life is not complete without broadband internet, perhaps the rural village lifestyle is not for you.”

I then go for a long walk.....have a meal.....maybe a nap .when I return in an hour or two the Item is SOMETIMES THERE !!! Wonderful technology..much faster than an ordinary letter by post( though not as reliable as the post.)”

“The thing is Atheists do not believe there IS a Deity to reward or punish in another
"life"
It is therefore important to protect our fellow Human animal well as
the other species we share our planet with
We should NOT release murderers, rapists child molesters lose to prey on more innocent victims in future.

AFTER A TIMELY, COMPLETELY FAIR, AND IMPARTIAL TRIAL..and a GUILTY VERDICT.

Those found GUILTY of " A CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY"KILLING or PERMANENTLY MAIMING .. fellow human should be put down as quickly and painlessly as possible.
Those who bleat we cannon "kill" only allow more innocent victims in the long haul.
As well as depleting scarce resources that COULD be spent on rehabilitating some who are receptive to changing their lives.(delinquent teens for example)”

I believe in kindness ,understanding..empathy and compassion......to my

ALSO a concern for our planets environment and the beings we share our planet with.

Atheists might have a more realistic approach to our universe...that does NOT mean in general we are more intelligent.
Hence those who form a vendetta against Christianity.”

By ads that I cannot avoid seeing..
That GOES FOR MY ATHEIST POINT OF VIEW AS WELL!!!!!

Peace and respect to our fellow man and fellow creatures(on this planet)

Sums it up in a neutral way.......any "slant "to a particular point of view IS NOT ACCEPTABLE”

Blodo on Dec 6, 2013 at 16:25:49

“I sort of agree with you. Billboards don't affect me on way or the other and I feel no compulsion to attack anyone's religious beliefs. On the other hand, if religious zealots can put up sayings derived from the oral history of Bronze Age goat herders, why can't modern secular humanists display their opinions in the same way? Seems to be a simple question of legal equity rather than theology.”
