“Cute kids make for good tv, but that doesn't always mean that they have any actual talent. The pressure for these young people to stay marketable into adulthood must be overwhelming. So sad to watch another self destruct.”
“I find the content of the song to be mildly offensive, but the worst part is the fact that the song only has one line, repeated over and over. .....Boring...........and he can't sing.”

“I find music isn't about singing these days. It's who can make the raciest soft core porn to music that someone else wrote. And then repeat words. Remember back in the day, there were hard working people who learned an instrument and practiced everyday for hours and they got royalties and fans and had world tours? ahh...Things from the past makes me realize I was born in the wrong decade.
Now all you have to do is be born by a "famous" dad and you can do anything!”
“Yes, if only everyone could renounce their religions and traditional lively hoods and live like us. Please!!!”

“How do you live ? You have a PC ., which means you have electricity, and a home, and perhaps a car, and maybe a job, and clothing. With a magic Ice box that keeps your food cold, and a magic fire that warms your house.
“Sure it is artistic expression, but one might question the sanity of someone who is inspired to create this kind of imagery.”

“Once upon a time, this 'expression' would never have seen the light of day, and people would have been (rightly) appalled by this utter depravity.
Is it really such a good thing, that it's so glibly accepted as 'artistic expression'? If this is progressive artistic expression, I'll stay in the dark ages, thanks.
Actually, this blind acceptance of everything proffered as art, is just disheartening. In ten years time, will it be so unthinkable that there will be live exhibitions of this 'art'? When I was a youngster, I never would have believed something like this would be floating around for people to view, and now I realize the more people parade their pathology to the public--under the guise of expressive freedom--the more impervious people become to the shock value of their macabre presentations.
This man, whose passion is creating brutal, sadistic images of young women, is out there, around your daughters, sisters and mothers, being hailed as an artist.
Take care to answer now, but would you want him for a son-in-law, or father for your grandchildren?”

“Who cares what he thinks? Why is he given ink space? He is a ex-con, fraudster, yet the media thinks he has something to contribute????”
MaryJane Cannabian on Jul 27, 2012 at 21:55:11
“He can contribute because he *has* been all of those things. Who better to learn from than somebody who has actually served jail time? It would be stupid to not listen to him, I have before and wrote about it: http://nblo.gs/4lIby
If our goal is to "correct" people then we must continually strive to improve our correctional system. We don't call it "Punishment Service of Canada" because the priority is to rehabilitate people while they serve their sentence and before they reintegrate into society. The majority of jailed offenders are not kept in jail forever, don't you believe that we owe it to ourselves to stop recidivism? Do you not think that I, as a Mother, want people who are released from prison to have been given the tools to never re-offend thus making the country I live in a much safer place for my children?
The worse thing we could EVER do is make our incarceration system private and for profit - this is a public service that our hard earned taxes go to because we like having professionals in Fire and Police Departments, ambulances, jails, hospitals and mental health facilities, public schools etc. These public servants are properly trained to help us live our safest and healthiest lives. The Correctional Service of Canada is a necessary public service with the priority of public safety and therefore should forever be exempt from making profit for privately owned businesses corporations. “If we are to accept that the discrepancies in the notes are " innocent mistakes that were a product of a fast-moving, stressful situation" then the notes of every officer in every case should be in question. How many people have been jailed due to these innocent mistakes? Are these officers not trained to deal with fast- moving stressful situations?”

“"Mistakes made in a fast moving situation"....explains the officers poor notes. Therefore, from now on no officers notes should be relied on in a court case. How many people have been convicted based on mistakes made in a fast moving situation?”

“At what point should we stop polluting? Wake up, the sky is melting and if we don't change these attitudes we will follow or our children, but who cares about them or the planet we need cell phones now!”
