Rob Ford May Have Tried To Buy Crack Tape: Court Documents

Rob Ford May Have Tried To Buy Crack Tape: Court Documents

Commented Dec 5, 2013 at 10:39:36 in Canada Politics

“Waste in government is certainly bad, but not certainly new. There are billions “missing” from the federal government – confirmed by the Auditor General -- and no one seems to care about that either. At least people know what happened to the gas plant money and are still getting two power plants out of it. Not the greatest scenario but far better than having a drug addicted, foul mouthed pathological liar who seems to have a very close relationship with several members of a notorious street gang -- The Dixon Bloods. This gang is responsible for gun trafficking and bring guns into this country. And Ford is their “boy.”

Crack, heroin, extortion, bribery, gangs, guns, death threats, someone thrown out a window in Fort McMurray... I mean come on. Enough is Enough. Toronto has high unemployment and this situation isn't doing any good to attract investment.”

Chretien never ordered his MP's to vote against an amendment to fix grammar in a bill just because it came from the opposition... That's just ridiculous.”

I'm not saying that the government is responsible for the choices people make but they definitely play a role in making a junk food cheaper than real food. That's a fact.”

“I think in a free society both should be allowed to express their feelings and opinions.

There's nothing wrong with saying that we should be bringing attention to obesity problems and there's also nothing wrong with making plus sized woman feel good about themselves.

But I kind of agree with her more: the best way to feel good about yourself is to feel good about yourself. If it all boils down to how you feel about your body, ad campaigns won't address that the best way. Hitting the gym and working hard will though.

That's what I did and I feel the best I ever have in my life.”

LittleBird89 on Nov 27, 2013 at 16:49:41

“Isn't true though that women feel bad about their bodies not because they inherently know they're fat but because society plasters anorexic models everywhere and shames anyone who can't fit into a 4? I'm not saying obesity is good, but the target media is making women aim for is far too unrealistic. If you have the energy to run around and play with your kids and feel good then you should be happy with your body. Who cares if we can't see your ribs.”

“Would you kindly explain how Trudeau's use in Toronto Centre of a flyer picking up on Conservative personal attacks on "Angry Tom" and "The NDP's radical plan for Toronto Centre", how red baiting and distributing pictures of Linda McQuaig interviewing Hugo Chavez for her book, and falsely claiming the Linda lived in an 8 million dollar house is not precisely the negative politics and personal attacks Trudeau decries and promised he would not engage in?

Trudeau's ungracious victory speech was not only utterly hypocritical for the first time it caused me to question his basic integrity and decency.

Liberals would do well to remember that it was arrogance, entitlement, and hypocrisy that nearly made them extinct. A victory speech is a time to be humble, gracious, and praise your opponents not to goad, gloat, and attack them.”

“Perhaps you should learn what the term majority actually means.

The majority of Canadians think it's time for Harper to go. All mathematical evidence proves this. Even the 2011 election results that you seem so fond of confirm that 62% of Canadians do not support a right-wing party representing them.

So when I say something like "Canadians think it's time for him to go" that is the truth. An overwhelming majority of Canadians do not want Harper as the PM. He does not represent our views.

Therefore, Canadians think it's time for him to go.

Don't use your lack of knowledge of math and English to try and accuse me of speaking for every single Canadian. I'm speaking on behalf of the majority, which makes my use of words correct.

Cheers.”
