“Sure, and if you opened an account they would put $100 in it if you would keep it 30 days. That's when money was worth something. As for TD Canada Trust I do remember them when a new branch opened giving you a free toaster or kettle just for opening a savings account. Those ddays are over. They take more money from you now then they give. It's the biggest legitimate scam going right now.Flaherty and Mark Carney have been putting it to us in political ideology for four years and we are believing them like Jim Jones and his popular lemonade.”

“It was probably an issue because the account was not in her name but rather her husbands. But then why was she able in the past to deposit them at the branch into the account? Not sure exact answer but I am sure they had thought of it.
A lot of seniors like my wife never trusted direct deposit as they wanted a check in hand.”
