I do know that with everyone sitting on the side lines, not supporting those who stick their necks out, not voting or being involved does not work.
Stabbing ones fellow workers in the back, being dived does not work.
The disillusionment of the voters is contrived! With less and less people voting the power is concentrated in the hands of the few (the wealthy). Everyone who does not vote is simply giving his or her vote to a lobbyist. Since most lobbyists are bought and paid for by the wealthy….. well let’s do the math in regards to our federal elections.
Only about 50 – 60% of Canadians voted, of those barely half voted for the harperites, this means that about 31% of Canadians voted for harperites. They have been claiming a majority and have been pursuing an ultra-right corporatist agenda to the detriment of the other 70% of Canadians account so many did not vote.
So doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result (which it would seem is what you suggest) is in fact insane or as you say delusional.
Since when did it become popular to emulate a dictator based governance system and why are so many people eager to become a third world country where families work for pennies and live in hovels?”

“So you reap the rewards of a union job for how many years?
And now the rest of society should have less work for less pay why?
The only ones who are presently holding communities, provinces and countries and governments hostage are the upper 1% and those that support them.
Since when did it become popular to emulate a dictator based governance system and why are so many people eager to become a third world country where families work for pennies and live in hovels?
These governments do not listen to the people they are far too busy listening to the Corporations and enacting legislation to make them and the upper 1% wealthier. These governments and their lackeys will continue to enact poor legislation to the detriment of Canada as a whole.
Sad there are so many that applaud the destruction of the working poor, working class, middle class. So many champion for the upper 1% to their own detriment.
Governments need to stop being led around by the corporations and ultra-rich and start championing for us the poor, working and middle class, after all it is us who vote them in, it is us who they should be listening too.
The poor, working poor, working and middle class have lousy lobbyists, unlike the wealthy who have the best that money can buy.”
Should all people everywhere just suck it up, be tread upon without protest account it negatively affects others who are not willing to stand up and be counted?
Is this your solution to the ever increasing strong hold the wealthy and privileged have on societies today?
Where does change start?
Are those brave enough to stand up and be counted to be left abandoned just because others are too weak or ill-informed to do likewise?
And lastly since when did it become popular to emulate a dictator based governance system and why are so many people eager to become a third world country where families work for pennies and live in hovels?”
