“I grew up in Mexico and the fact that this is news makes me somewhat happy. This kind of discrimination is deeply rooted in Mexican society and the fact that today Aeromexico has to apologize, can only mean that things are changing and the country is moving towards a more inclusive culture.
“Gotta love July, it's Heterosexual Awareness Month and White History Month... Feel like taking off my shirt and dance my butt off ... oh wait ! I'm not White.. and I'm gay.. Boff, I'm sure both events will be pretty accepting...”

“Quand Harper a imposé le visa aux touristes mexicains en 2009, le Québec a ouvertement manifesté son opposition. Autant les libéraux que les souverainistes s'entendaient sur le fait la mauvaise décision d'imposer ce geste, que les Mexicains on considéré comme un humiliation, à un pays ami, avec des fortes relations culturelles et commerciales avec le Québec.
Rien de surprenant de voir le Mexique recevoir notre Première ministre les bras ouverts.”

“I do NOT like the Conservative Party, but gotta give this one to Flaherty. Price landing has been soft and necessary.”

“He created the mess along with Harper when they allowed sub-prime type mortgages into Canada. When the recession hit he was forced to backstop lenders to the tune of 100 billion through the CMHC (risk now belongs to taxpayers). Since then he has tinkered with it numerous times and has NEVER gotten it right.
So, give this one to Flaherty? That's laughable.”

“I agree in part, but I think we've also got to look at where the overseas money is coming from that may be driving housing prices up. I for one don't want overseas investors with too much loose cash making it hard for the average Canadian to afford to start building some equity in real estate. It's a middle class mainstay of having some financial security and we need to see how it can be maintained. There is way too much money sloshing around internationally, it is causing problems wherever it lands...it needs to be regulated in some sort of manner.”
