“Thanks. I've tried. Not one of the big three would bend. Maybe I'm a bad negotiator? Someone mentioned Wind... will check them out. Alternatively, if so many are disgruntled, is the problem oligopoly or is it just too expensive to provide coverage in our little populated, massive land? I can understand that matching American rates is not possible.”

“Have an offer from Wind in hand when you call. Shoot down any coverage or other BS arguments and see if they do better. You gotta do more than just say "please".”

“You'd need to know them to be able to judge the actions on that video? You need a detailed psychological profile too?”
NTodd on Jan 21, 2013 at 17:43:01
“No, that's not the point and I think you know it. The issue is whether the protesters in the video were the same identical individuals involved in all other protests (Levant's fanciful "rent-a-mob). There's no evidence of this; Levant's just doing his normal mariginalization dance, and the no-think crowd are falling right into step.”
“So you equate Einstein's contribution to science with any number of articles published in any number of physics journals today? Interesting. Everyone wins.
I'm not a theoretical physicist and don't pretend to understand it. You are saying that Einstein didn't overturn, outshine, supersede Newton? I'm confident that the bulk of physicists would disagree.”

“No...I don't "equate Einstein's contribution to science with any number of articles published in any number of physics journals today". I wrote that there are standouts in the field but that I am "in awe of every contributor to cumulative human knowledge".
Do you believe that Einstein was just walking down the road one day and had an epiphany and then developed his own mathematics to prove his epiphany? No...Newton gave him the mathematics he needed and physicists before Einstein gave him foundation.
And since your premise is not sound then your conclusion is likewise unsound. And yes, physicists would agree with what I have written.
But the simple question that goes unanswered is just how you think Einstein overturned, outshines, or supersedes Newton?
For someone who does not "pretend to understand" you are very forthright in your assumptions about things you concede you know nothing about. That is unfortunate because I was not giving weight to one over the other but instead recognizing both of the greatest minds ever...along with those who toil in anonymity. Nothing more.”
“Yup. The picture says it all. He outdid Newton whose theory held for 200 years. But he was Atheist. So he was dumb.”
Sean McNally AU on Nov 19, 2012 at 18:24:52
“He was not an Atheist, Atheists do not believe claims of a god. He specifically said he "did" believe in a god of some sort, making him an agnostic.
Reluctor Dominatus on Nov 19, 2012 at 18:05:10
“And just how did Einstein 'outdo' Newton?
Newton's theories are the reason why there are those who are now looking to string theory in an attempt to pull together the likes of Niels Bohr, and his quantum mechanics, with Einstein's general theory. And these men are just standouts in a strong field of other great minds; thousands of minds.
I am in awe of every contributor to cumulative human knowledge...great and small.”

“Not really. He just challenged conventional religious thinking. He didn't challenge morality and what religion teaches.”
