It's already November. Soon, we'll all begin looking forward to a new year, forming new hopes and goals around our calendar year. But, it's also a time to reflect on what we accomplished, to bank those new learnings and embrace the person we've become in 2012. Here are some of the things that I learned in 2012 and that I'll carry forward to the next year.
I am a self-made man. I started my first company with a few thousand dollars and later sold it for more than $100 million -- then I did it again with a new startup in a different field. I was thinking of all the couples who complain that sex has become duty, and thus has lost its joy. Women particularly chafe at duty-sex, and men wither with performance anxiety. Both thus miss their own potential enjoyment. What is required to reverse this self-defeating behaviour? Let's stop demanding that everything be perfect before we venture forth sexually.
