Captain Canuck was the first Canadian super hero since the 1940s. And he's the Grand Old Man compared to later characters like Northguard or the American-published Vindicator/Guardian (or whatever he/she's called these days) of Alpha Flight. And this Canada Day, he returns in his very own web series.

Canadian actors Ryan Reynolds, Seth Rogen, and Stephen Amell have much in common. The former Sexiest Man Alive, funny man and newcomer have each proven that they know how to fight off villains as the notorious super heroes the Green Lantern, Green Hornet, and Green Arrow.

His stories earned him recognition in the global comics industry and seriously large piles of fan-mail. And today marks what would have been the 82nd birthday of India's "Master Storyteller," Anant Pai who died last year in Mumbai. But this year, he is immortalized by way of his own medium.
