Sometimes saving the planet can seem like a daunting task, I know it was for me when I began my green journey almost fifteen years ago. Things were quite different back then, choices were limited and so was information, that's just simply not the case anymore. We have a great deal of green items to choose from that are effective and innovative and we have a ton of information at our fingers tips too.

Given the state of the world and the tasks of the next generation, our survival depends on how we parent our children right now. We need to focus on the values we are encouraging for our children, and questioning whether or not our individual actions are helping our kids become the environmental stewards the world desperately needs.
April is Earth Month, and April 22 Earth Day. We should really celebrate our small blue planet and all it provides every day, but recent events give us particular cause to reflect on our home and how we're treating it. Some argue we must choose between "growing" the economy and protecting the planet. We must reduce our individual impacts, but more importantly, we must tell industry and governments at all levels that we'll no longer support the fouling of our planet and the madness of putting short-term economic growth ahead of protecting everything that keeps us alive and healthy.
