A little over six months ago, I began a one-of-a-kind job: eating at 365 Richmond, B.C. restaurants in 365 days, and blogging about each and every one. I currently have 194 restaurants under (and expanding) my belt, and have consumed a number of foods I didn't previously know were edible. Of course, there's still plenty more to eat, see, and learn, but here are my top 10 favourite dishes so far.
Many of us find ourselves eating out on a regular basis due to social or corporate demands, but restaurants' objectives are not to keep our weight in line. On average Americans eat out at least four times per week. Can you eat out and maintain your weight without consuming only veggies and steamed fish? Yes you can. Here is my advice.
Too often, a restaurant's inflated price point leaves me flat when measured against the profoundly uninspiring vegetable accompaniment that has been prepared with all the verve and creativity of a dial tone. I'm sorry, but steamed carrots and a slice of wobbly bell pepper just doesn't feel good in my body.
