My friend's foray into the world of fitness modelling inspired me to take a look at the term "eating disorder" in my trusty dictionary. I am completely shocked and saddened that the fitness model craze is not only unrecognized as another eating disorder, but is also encouraged by the hardcore fitness community.
I was born small, grew up a size 0, and am still a size 0 today. I have friends that are slender, and I have friends that are curvy. I have friends who you would consider to be overweight. The truth of the situation is that every single one of them is in better health than I am.
If you won't give up wine and carb-based snacks, or if you are not willing to be at the gym for an hour or two every single day, then don't expect to get a body like a model. Fitness models work a lot harder than they get credit for. You can't get those results without the effort and commitment.
