Isn't John Tory exactly the kind of mayor we all want after the disaster Ford years? He is a real consensus builder that will actually make an exceptional 65th mayor of Toronto. He is a candidate that is rare and worth supporting. I hope many will.
When Chow spoke of how government is the answers to all ills in society, wrongly, and Tory, whom I also respect and have endorsed previously, sang Motown to the large black audience - it was Goldkind who spoke of practical things and reflected how black doctors, lawyers, accountants should be the role models instead of basketball players.
Long before Toronto's Star's former reporter, Robin Doolittle, described Toronto mayoral candidate, Ari Goldkind, as someone who "has virtually no chance of winning," I knew who he was. I too once shared Doolittle's assessment of his candidacy. That all changed when I met up with him for an hour at a downtown food court.
