Power Financial Corp. (TSX:PWF). Management and holdings. Down one cent, or 0.04 per cent, at $27.19 on 817,099 shares. The company, whose assets include controlling interests in Great-West Lifeco Inc. (TSX:GWO) and IGM Financial Inc. (TSX:IGM), said net earnings attributable to common shareholders rose to $507 million or 72 cents per share in the three months ended June 30.
Telus Corp. (TSX:T). Telecom operator. Up 35 cents, or 0.68 per cent, at $51.63 on 723,428 shares. Canada's second biggest telecom operator raised its revenue guidance. It also reported net profits in the second quarter rose to $324 million or 99 cents a share from $302 million or 94 cents a year ago.
