Tory leader's star power no match for TIFF celebrities

TORONTO - It turns out Tim Hudak doesn't have the same star power as the celebrities in town for the Toronto International Film Festival.

The Conservative leader drew a small crowd at a campaign stop at a gelato shop, but apparently failed to impress some customers hoping to spot A-listers.

A woman who stopped to peer inside the store asked Hudak's handlers what the fuss was about.

"Tim Hudak," one answered.

"Who?" the woman replied.

After realizing the man smiling at cameras was a politician, the woman turned to her daughter to break the news.

"Sorry, honey, it's not a movie star," she said.
