New York Rangers rally to beat HC Slovan Bratislava 4-1 in pre-season game

BRATISLAVA, Slovakia - The New York Rangers rallied to beat HC Slovan Bratislava 4-1 on Sunday for a third straight pre-season win in Europe.

Ivan Svarny scored with a slapshot on a power play to put Slovan ahead in the first period before the Rangers answered in the second.

Mats Zuccarrelo levelled the game on a 5-3 advantage and goals from Brian Boyle and Artem Anisimov put the visitors fully in control.

Ryan McDonagh finished the scoring midway through the third.

In their European tour, the Rangers also beat Czech Republic's Sparta Prague 2-0 and Sweden's Frolunda 4-2.

They still face EV Zug in Switzerland on Monday before they return to Sweden to start the regular season against the Los Angeles Kings and the Anaheim Ducks on Oct. 7-8 in Stockholm.
